  Why isn't the world a frazzle?

  when i was a jw i had a lot of silly ideas that seemingly explained things i wondered about.

  arguments from ignorance or special pleading i suppose.

  actually, my conclusions were daft.. one thing i have wondered about and i don't know if anyone else has, is why man hasn't either rendered the earth to a cinder or why there haven't been more nukes go off against nations.

  I have also wondered the same thing. What I have learned or heard about is it would only take maybe 2 or 3 nuclear warheads hitting major cities to wipe out the whole earth with nuclear winter. It may be the fear of killing yourself has stop others in using nuclear weapons. Just a thought. Mankind is at a point in it's evolution of going extinct by it's own greed and foolishness or getting past all this and advancing to a better world. I hope for the better world. Still Totally ADD

  OnTheWayOut those who believe don't call them Dinosaurs anymore they are now called Gospel Lizards. LOL I heard that one just the other day. A Parrot makes more sense than a snake. The we could have all been scared of Parrot when we see one instead of snakes. LOL Still Totally ADD

  my wife and i watch the new season of bones last night and they killed off sweets!!!

  it just a tv show but this is one we have always enjoyed.

  Now, Now everybody even though I would be the first one to laugh I truly meant Bones the TV show. ADD sure has it's funny moments. I forgot the s at the end on Bones. I am so sorry applehippie for letting the cat out of the bag. It turly was a shocker. I just feel like talking about something else besides all this cult stuff. Still Totally ADD

  What I heard was they are worried it will mutate and become air borne. They perdict by this time next year there could be millions infected with Ebola. They are very worried about this. Still Totally ADD

  Why I hate Tuesdays

  all throughout my life tuesdays were my meeting nights.

  well tuesdays and thursdays to be more precise, when we had book study but book study was at my house so it wasn't terrible.

  anyways as a kid i hated coming home from school, doing homework and then going to the meetings.

  Will the kingdom hall of jehovahs witnesses signs eventually come down?

  it is clear that the leaders of the jehovahs witness religion are rebranding.

  so as a strategy they could have both the jw.org signs and kingdom hall signs running at the same time and then in a few years instruct congregations to remove the kingdom hall signs.

  this happens all the time with commercial products when there are mergers and company takeovers.. .

  Will JW.ORG actually harm the WT Society Long Term ?

  my son and i were discussing this yesterday over coffee.

  since the wt society in previous years virtually demonized going on the internet at all for jw's - now wt leaders are doing a complete turn around or about face probably so as to " compete " or keep up with all the anti-jw websites that are out there to give the wt society point of view.. however- it very well may backfire on them as once people start doing google searches looking for jw.org it will bring up all the other websites dealing with any jw issues and in the privacy of their own homes out of curiosity i'm sure lots of jw's are going to want to check out some of these sites to see what all the " apostate " hoopla is all about.

  i wonder how many jw's will do this and will it have an effect in opening more minds to other views ?

  I think about 50% of those who come across a site other than the Wt. will look into it. Maybe not at once but as time goes by they will look at see what the other side is saying. I am only going by what happen to me. We should all remember the GB is run by a bunch of old men who for the most part do not know much about the internet. I think this new web site they have is like a new toy to them. It most likely makes them feel more important or computer hip in their eyes. Just because they tell the flock not to read apostate sites does not mean they won't. Apostate sites out rank them 10 to 1. This is what happens to a organization that was so hard nose about the internet for so long. They deserve whatever they get. Still Totally ADD
